Pressure washed driveway in Sydney

Pressure Washing & Exterior Cleaning, Sydney

Driveways, paths, house exteriors, windows, solar panels, gutters and driveway sealing — matched pressure and technique to the surface, so the job gets done properly without damage. Real Sydney jobs, real photos below.

Why Sydney exteriors need regular cleaning

Humidity, tree cover and clay soil — Sydney's exteriors don't stay clean on their own.

Sydney's warm, humid climate is exactly what makes mould, algae and black lichen build up so quickly on driveways, paths, roofs and exterior walls. Combine that with tree cover, sprinkler overspray and clay-heavy soils that hold moisture, and most properties need an exterior clean at least once a year just to stay ahead of it — more often for shaded areas, pool surrounds and anything near overhanging trees.

Different surfaces need different treatment, which is the core of how we approach every job. A concrete driveway can take strong pressure and come up like new. A rendered wall or painted weatherboard needs a gentler soft wash — lower pressure with a cleaning solution that lifts mould without stripping paint or damaging render. We adjust equipment and technique to the material every time, rather than running one setting on everything.

Local knowledge

A season-by-season exterior cleaning guide.

Spring (Sep–Nov)

A good time to clear winter mould and moss before the humid months set in.

Summer (Dec–Feb)

Humidity speeds up algae growth on shaded driveways, pool surrounds and decks — prime pressure washing season.

Autumn (Mar–May)

Falling leaves and debris make gutters and roof rinses worth scheduling before the wetter months arrive.

Winter (Jun–Aug)

Shaded, damp areas build up mould and lichen fastest, making winter a smart time for a soft wash before spring.

Questions we get asked

Pressure washing FAQs.

Do I need to provide anything for a pressure washing job?

We bring the pressure washing equipment, but we do need access to an outside tap for water and a standard power point at the property. If a tap isn't easy to get to, just let us know when you book and we'll sort out the best approach.

Is pressure washing safe for pavers and sandstone?

Yes, when it's done properly. We adjust pressure and nozzle choice to the surface, using lower pressure and wider fan tips on softer sandstone and rendered surfaces, and higher pressure on solid concrete. This lifts dirt, mould and lichen without eroding grout lines or pitting the surface.

Do you clean windows and solar panels as well?

Yes. Alongside driveway, path and exterior washing, we offer internal and external window cleaning, solar panel cleaning, gutter cleaning and driveway colour sealing — handy add-ons to book while we're already on site.

Is soft washing safe for painted or rendered walls?

Yes. Soft washing uses lower pressure and a cleaning solution to lift mould and grime rather than blasting it off, which is the safer method for painted weatherboard, render, and older brickwork that could be damaged by high pressure alone.

How much does pressure washing cost?

It depends on the surface area and the job type — a driveway, a full exterior wash and a gutter clean are all priced differently. Send us a photo or describe the job and we'll give you a straight price before anything is booked.

How long does a typical pressure washing job take?

It varies with size and how dirty the surface is, but most driveways and paths are done within a few hours. Larger jobs like a full house soft wash may take longer — we'll give you a time estimate with your quote.

Do you use chemicals, or just water pressure?

General pressure cleaning is mostly water-based. Soft washing uses a cleaning solution alongside lower pressure to lift mould and grime without damaging delicate surfaces. We match the method to the job.

Will pressure washing damage my garden or plants nearby?

We take care around garden beds and plants during a clean, and can cover or divert spray and run-off away from anything delicate nearby. Let us know if there are specific plants you're worried about.

How often should I get my driveway or exterior pressure washed?

Most Sydney properties benefit from a clean at least once a year, and more often for shaded areas, pool surrounds, or anywhere near overhanging trees where mould builds up faster.

Do you offer one-off cleans, or only regular service?

Both. Plenty of customers book a one-off clean before an event or sale, and others set up an annual or twice-yearly clean. No lock-in contract either way.

Is pressure washing suitable for solar panels?

Yes — we use a gentle, low-pressure clean suited to solar panels, aimed at removing dust, bird mess and grime without risking the panel surface.

Do you clean commercial or strata properties?

Yes. We take on strata common areas, commercial driveways and multi-unit properties alongside standard residential jobs.

What happens to the dirty water and run-off?

We direct run-off away from garden beds and stormwater drains where possible, and take a responsible approach to where waste water ends up on each job.
